Dr. Joni Smith

Chiropractor – Pioneers Location
A Nebraska native, Dr. Joni Smith founded Active Life Family Chiropractic in 2002. She is dedicated to chiropractic wellness care and hopes to help people move naturally, live better, and stay well.

Dr. Smith received her Bachelor’s of Science in Human Biology and Doctor of Chiropractic at Cleveland Chiropractic College. She is a member of the American Chiropractic Association, Nebraska Chiropractic Physicians Association, and the International Chiropractic Association. Dr. Smith has completed 110 hours of Pediatric and Pregnancy care training through ICPA and is certified in Webster Technique. Within the Lincoln community, she is a member of the Chamber and Junior League.

Dr. Smith is not only dedicated to providing her patients the best chiropractic care, but also enjoying her family. She shares a home with her husband of fifteen years and has three beautiful girls: Danielle (13), Avery (11), and Elizabeth (7).

Dr. Darci Jurgens

Chiropractor – Pioneers Location
 A native Nebraskan, Dr. Darci is dedicated to helping people of all ages reach their optimum health through chiropractic care.

Dr. Darci is a 2003 graduate from NWHSU.  She has extended studies in Active Release Technique (ART) and is a full spine practitioner.  Dr. Darci has completed 60 hours of pediatric and pregnancy care through the ICPA.  She is certified in the Webster Technique.

Dr. Darci is proficient in diversified technique, Thompson, activator and ART.

She enjoys spending time with her husband of 19 years and two kids, Hannah (14) and Thomas (9).

Dr. Alisha Fletcher

Chiropractor – Cornhusker Location
A Nebraska native, Dr. Alisha Fletcher is devoted to helping as many patients as possible through the use of chiropractic care.

Dr. Fletcher graduated with Cum Laude honors at Midland University, while receiving her Bachelors of Science degree.  She then attended Cleveland Chiropractic College and earned Magna Cum Laude honors.  She was also nominated for the Who’s Who Award.  Dr. Fletcher was given top clinical nominations, as she was only one of six students to receive the Clinical Performance Award, and was the only intern in her graduating class to receive the Clinical Excellence Award.
Dr. Fletcher uses techniques such as Diversified, Thompson, Activator, and S.O.T.  She has been certified in the application of Rocktape, and has also attended TMJ seminars.  The use of multiple techniques is beneficial for working with a wide variety of patients from newborns through retirement ages.
