Dr. Joni Smith

A Nebraska native, Dr. Joni Smith founded Active Life Family Chiropractic in 2002. She is dedicated to chiropractic wellness care and hopes to help people move naturally, live better, and stay well.

Dr. Smith received her Bachelor’s of Science in Human Biology and Doctor of Chiropractic at Cleveland Chiropractic College. She is a member of the American Chiropractic Association, Nebraska Chiropractic Physicians Association, and the International Chiropractic Association. Dr. Smith has completed 110 hours of Pediatric and Pregnancy care training through ICPA and is certifies in Webster Technique. Within the Lincoln community, she is a member of the Chamber and Junior League.

Dr. Smith is not only dedicated to providing her patients the best chiropractic care, but also enjoying her family. She shares a home with her husband of nine years and has three beautiful girls: Danielle (8), Avery (6), and Elizabeth (2).

Amanada Schaeffer, Insurance Manager

Amanda has been the insurance manager at Active Life for a little over two years. Her responsibilities include managing all insurance and billing procedures, as well as assisting the patient coordinator with scheduling and patient procedures. Amanda is passionate about assisting and interacting with every patient.

Ashley Quimby, Patient Coordinator

Ashley’s responsibilities include maintaining the patient flow, assisting with therapy procedures, front and back office operations, and taking care of patient needs. She strives to get to know patients and their wellness goals. Her greatest joy at work is watching patients' lives improve with chiropractic care.
